<p><strong>Job Description</strong></p>
<p><strong>Mambo’s Storage &; Home Distribution Centre is looking for Pickers and General Workers for Peak season. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks within the Warehouse / Distribution Center.</strong></p>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong>Basic requirements: Must be able to read, write and count accurately. Must maintain a strong attendance register.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Pickers Key Responsibilities &#8211; this job will include, but not be limited to the following:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Packing incoming stock away, taking inventory and reporting shortages</strong></p>
<p><strong>Must be able to operate a pallet jack or forklift.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Picking orders as requested by management.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Sealing and tagging containers, confirming accuracy of orders</strong></p>
<p><strong>Loading and unloading trucks</strong></p>
<p><strong>Process work order pick lists</strong></p>
<p><strong>Transport merchandise from the stock room to the delivery platform</strong></p>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong>General Worker Key Responsibilities &#8211; this job will include, but not be limited to the following:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers with incoming and outgoing materials or products.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Move and transport materials within the warehouse using pallet jacks, or other equipment.</strong></p>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong>Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage or discrepancies.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Ensure that products are stored in an organized and secure manner to prevent damage.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Assist with the loading and unloading of delivery trucks.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Report any discrepancies, damaged goods to supervisors.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Collaborate with other warehouse staff and supervisors to coordinate tasks and prioritise work.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Work as part of a team to achieve warehouse operational objectives.</strong></p>
