<p><strong>The successful candidate will form part of the Horticultural Maintenance team, giving input into the maintenance &; construction of landscapes and to provide direction to gardeners in their duties and responsibilities.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Grade 12 or NQF level 3 in an appropriate field and 12 months relevant horticultural experience</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Ability to operate specialised horticultural machinery such as chainsaws, Ride-on mower etc.</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Basic safety knowledge and ability to complete tasks in time without constant supervision.</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Code 08 / EB driver’s licence and ability to pass RW K53 driving test.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Primary Duties</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Installation and maintenance of irrigation systems.</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Maintenance of indoor plants.</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Applications of fertilisers, compost, mulches and pesticides.</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Loading and offloading of goods, machines, plants and debris etc.</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Use of specialised horticultural machinery and equipment.</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Support with decorations and construction when required.</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Maintenance of specialised sports and recreation fields.</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Horticultural maintenance of sites.Knowledge• Specialised Horticultural, Turf grass &; Landscape knowledge</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Basic safety knowledge</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Basic plant knowledge and Water wise principles.</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Knowledge of specialised Horticultural machinery.</strong></p>
