Key Responsibilities
Successful applicants will be responsible for:
- Welcoming and assisting customers with a friendly attitude
- Promoting products and current sales promotions
- Achieving daily and monthly sales targets
- Operating the cash register accurately
- Processing customer payments
- Providing excellent customer service
- Resolving customer queries professionally
- Maintaining a clean and organised store
- Receiving and unpacking stock deliveries
- Assisting with stock control and inventory management
- Helping reduce stock losses by following company procedures
- Keeping up to date with new products and promotions
- Supporting team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Minimum Requirements
To be considered, applicants should have:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Previous experience in one or more of the following:
- Retail
- Customer Service
- Cashier
- Sales
- Store Assistant
- Store Associate
- General Worker
- General Assistant
- A clear criminal record
- Residence within 15 km of the store you are applying for
Preferred Requirements
Although not compulsory, the following will strengthen your application:
- South African citizenship
- Good English communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Passion for retail and customer service
- Candidates between the ages of 20 and 35 may be preferred
