Kopanang Gold Mine has opened its Engineering Artisan Development / Learnership Programme 2026, offering unemployed South Africans an opportunity to gain practical workplace experience and develop technical skills in the mining industry.

Kopanang Gold Mine Learnership 2026

The Engineering Artisan Development Programme is designed to help learners develop the technical competencies, knowledge and practical skills needed to progress towards an artisan trade.

Successful candidates will be placed on a structured training programme for the duration prescribed by the applicable QCTO and MQA requirements.

The programme includes:

  • Be medically fit to work underground

Applicants should note that preference is given to suitably qualified candidates residing in Matlosana Local Municipality, Viljoenskroon, Rammulotsi and Vierfontein areas.
