SKUKUZA: WASTE MANAGEMENT SITE – KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Paterson Grading: A1
Remuneration: Basic Salary
Applications are invited for a General WorKer positions in Technical Services at Skukuza Camp: Waste Management Site, Kruger National Park Reporting to Superintendent Waste Management
The key performance areas of the successful incumbents would include the following;
Key Performance Areas
- Perform responsibities as per supervisor’s schedule and demand of operators
- Sorting and separation of recyclables from non·recyclables and Incineration
- Perform crushing and Bailing of recyclables
- Storeall recyclables according to their ypes (Glass,Plastic, Boxes,and Tin) into their designated areas
- Cleaning of the Building and collecting litter around the Facility
- Maintain good hausekeeping
- Report any problem animalsaod maintenanceissues ta h.e supervisor
Requirements:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities that are required for the job.
- Grade 12 certificate
- Physicaly fit
- Basic knowledge of OHS.
- Knowledge of working in the national park
- Ability to listen and objectively understand verbally conveyed message
- Experience in waste handling management will be added advantage.
NB.The positions will be filled in line with the Employment Equity Targets for KNP.
