  • Liaise with the Implementing Agents (IAs) on outstanding and/or incorrect personal and payment information.
  • Follow-up on progress with payments, payment rejections and resubmit.
  • Ensure bank account changes are affected timeously and administer CWP wage payment enquiries and queries for respective province.
  • Monitor deceased and PERSAL participants and ensure deactivation.
  • Report any identified or suspected fraudulent activities.
  • Perform any other functions within the CWP Finance Unit.

The DSI-HSRC Internship Programme located within the Office of the DCEO undertakes the implementation, management and monitoring and evaluation of the Internship Programme as part of evidence-informed research. It recognizes that education and the economy have long been linked and conducts research to assess the performance of the internship in enhancing the labour market performance of interns enrolled in the programme and to interrogate wider social, spatial, and structural obstacles to economic participation.

 



 

DSI-HSRC Internship Programme requires the services of up to 15 experienced fieldworkers for fieldwork over a period of 8 months with the fieldworkers based in Cape Town, Durban and Pretoria. The work is a per-day assignment, not a monthly contract; i.e. Fieldworkers will only be paid for the number of days worked, over the 8-month period, pending the successful completion of tasks assigned to them.

The fieldwork scope will be between 40 days and 60 days over the duration of the contract. Fieldworkers should be fluent in any or several of the official South African languages
