LIBRARY AID/CLEANER x2 (2-YEAR CONTRACT) CONDITIONAL GRANT

COMMUNITY AND PROTECTION SERVICES
REF: CP/CS/LS/40 + 16

Salary: R 133 702.17 – R 172 700.3 Plus benefits

The successful incumbent will report to the Senior Librarian within the section

Minimum Requirements: Grade 10 • 6-month’s domestic cleaning work experience.
Other Requirements:

Customer orientated

• Able to perform cleaning duties

• mend books

• be able to work in a team and on his/her own

• Proficiency in at least two of the three official languages (English, Afrikaans, Xhosa).

 

Responsibilities/Duties:

Perform messenger duties for the section

• Basic book repair

• Collecting and delivery of documentation and other resources related to the Library section

• Cleaning of libraries, offices and immediate surrounds (outside entrances/ pathways/exits)

Note:
• Preference will be given to residents of the Greater Stellenbosch Municipal Area
• Amended salary scales will be implemented in accordance with the Collective Agreement when new cost of living increase is determined
